My two favorite places are vacation and home.

Hello! I’m Brittany, the artist behind Summerhouse Studio. I spend my days chasing two active toddlers and making a happy home for the people I love most. Inspired by our family adventures and the beautiful Lowcountry we call home, my designs have a story to tell.

Our lives are made up of a unique set of threads – the people, passions and places that fuel us. Weaving them together creates the moments that make life beautiful.

And it’s those specific moments I weave into my art. Counting the fiddler crabs before they escape back to their holes. Guessing if it’s high tide or low tide as we run down the boardwalk. Hunting for seashells at dusk when the only noise left on the beach is crashing waves and young giggles.

These memories define my life as a mom. As much as we hope and try to slow down time, our littles keep growing and life continues to evolve. By filling our home with beautiful, purposeful design that tells of the story of our days, we experience those joys over and over.
